Back in 2018, Tourissimo was very excited to announce the ambitious project of a bike path along Lake Garda in northern Italy.
Our blog about it generated a lot of interest and we decided it was time to check out how things have progressed. There’s a long way to go before the project is fully funded and completed. However, the project has the potential to become a huge driver for tourism on Lake Garda.
Heather Dowd, Tourissimo’s co-founder, rode the part that as of summer 2021 can be considered complete.
