Kevin Aholt

Kevin Lawrence Aholt was a caring husband, brother, father, grandfather, and friend that passed away on February 4th, 2022, at the age of 63 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Kevin was born to Norbert and Bernice Aholt on May 29, 1958, in Washington, MO. After graduating from St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Kevin went abroad to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a pharmacist where he met the love of his life Cindy. Kevin often joked that he had to travel half-way around the world to find his true love. Together, they had 3 children: Phillip, Ryan, and Kelly. Kevin’s children referred to him as their superhero and still see him as that today. He was always there for them through life’s ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.

Kevin is survived by his wife Cindy of 35 years, sons Phillip and Ryan, daughter Kelly, daughter-in law Alex, grandchildren Brooks and Blake, sister Judith and many loving friends and extended family.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 E. Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 8525. A funeral mass is scheduled for 1pm on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at St. Gabriel’s the Archangel Catholic Church, 33648 N. Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.

Kevin was a passionate supporter of many charities. In lieu of flowers, donations can made in his name to Foothills Food Bank (foothillsfoodbank.com), St. Vincent DePaul (stvincentdepaul.net) or St. Gabriel’s the Archangel Catholic Church, Attn: Finance/Memorial Gifts, 33648 N.
