Eric Mathias and his Fall 2022 class in digital media at Otis College of Art and Design were honored to be joined by Jonathan Marc Stein, a highly influential fashion designer working in Los Angeles.

Stein’s aesthetic incorporates trademark quality, class, and a splash of edginess. He focuses on apparel for celebrity clients but is well known for his fashion forward sense for both men and women.

A Cincinnati, Ohio native with a mechanical engineering background who set out at age 18 on a quest to pursue his vision of a men’s and women’s fashion line. He is a self-taught designer, determined this day to make create his legacy in the fashion industry.

Stein’s work has been shown at both New York and Los Angeles Fashion weeks, and has been showcased at the 2020 Arab Fashion Week in Dubai, in October 2019.

His studio is located in Los Angeles, California.
