Jo Laud on BBC Tees – Storm Arwen

URGENT UPDATE – SATURDAY 27th Nov – CLASSES
Due to the disruption, strewn debris, fallen trees and continuing warnings of storm Arwen Jo took the sensible step to cancel Saturday’s classes. Her decision was helped by the fabulous team at BBC Radio Tees and the host presenter Amy Oakden and the excellent Dave Llewelyn’s travel updates confirming Cleveland Police advice to only travel if the journey is essential. But their help didn’t stop there, whilst Laud Ballet School has an emergency notification system for all students/ parents there’s always the potential for one or two to miss the update. Spotting Jo’s tweet Amy asked her to have a chat „live“ on air and make sure the news was broadcast more widely. Now thats what we think local radio is all about.
