Increase in Indian students opting to study in the UK despite lockdown in 2020-21

As per the statistics which was recently released by the UK Home Office, the number of study visa grants issued to Indian nationals in the year ending March 2021 increased by 6391, a 13% increase over the previous period.

A recent research also shows that about 83% of Indian Students with an offer to study in the UK are expecting to start their studies by September as planned.

Indian Students planning to travel back to the UK are being encouraged to connect with their universities and follow travel rules.

Under the current travel rule, Indian students upon arrival must follow a compulsory 10 day quarantine at a govt approved facility.

UK is accepting applications for Student Visas.

Students who complete education in the UK are allowed Post study work visa for 2 years which can be further extended.

After securing a Job, post study visa can be converted to skilled worker visa for long term stay.
