Iceland – Feel The Elements

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Iceland – Europe’s most western country. An island, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet each other. The land of fire and ice, as people like to call it. Located just below the Arctic Circle, it unsurprisingly has to offer a lot of ice indeed – as well as a lot of fire, coming from its still active volcanos.

And yet, this foreign country has to show so much more. It’s a wild place. Wide open and empty land, mostly far off any human civilization, ready to be discovered. A place to become one with nature and feel the elements!

Strong winds blowing in your face, no matter if you’re traveling along the coastline or wandering high up on a mountain. Fire, in form of hot lava, coming out of it’s still active volcanos, like the Fagradalsfjall near Reykjavik. Water, clean and drinkable directly from the source, either stored frozen in glaciers, or liquid, running down one of the country’s many waterfalls. Fertile earth, thanks to all the volcanic activity lasting already 25 million years, creating unreal places like black sand beaches.

There is so much to explore: wild animals, sea life, northern lights, natural hot tubs, geysers, the highlands, northern mythology… and of course the wonderful people of Iceland, taking care of mother nature, so that others can experience too, what no words can describe.

Go visit this magical place. Go, see Iceland!
