To perform the Bicep Dumbbell Curl…

Grab a pair of dumbbells and hold them at your sides.

Curl the dumbbells up while at the same time twisting your palms so they face upwards at the top of the curl. This is known as supination and will give you a better peak contraction in the biceps.

Avoid the tendency to swing and use momentum to curl the dumbbells, focus on keeping your upper body stationary and using just your biceps to lift the weight.

As you fatigue you can switch to doing single arm dumbbell curls in an alternate fashion. You’ll be able to lift heavier and / or perform more reps when you do curls in an alternate fashion because you’re giving each bicep a mini break between repetitions. While one arm is curling the other arm is resting, and vice versa.
