Michael Zaytsev is the Academic Director: Business of Cannabis at New York City’s LIM College. Author and community organizer, Zaytsev is leading the effort to build a cannabis education program from a college whose tagline is „Where Business Meets Fashion .“

In this Marijuana Channel One exclusive interview, Zaytsev explains to host David Rheins that the business of fashion has many lessons to teach the first crop of legal cannabis professionals — including branding, retailing and operational excellence.

LIM is offering a 4-year BBA and a 1-year MPS, with both online and in-person classes available to students. Internships with leading cannabis companies will be central to the program. With legal adult-use cannabis launching in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, demand from cannabis companies looking for interns, and students interested in the business of cannabis has been, well, high.
