Our 20th Anniversary celebrations continue with special virtual lectures to highlight our summer programs with the Duquesne University School of Nursing!

Join Duquesne in Rome for this special webinar „Healing & Renaissance Art: Monasteries, Medicine & Miracles“ by Prof. Christina Mifsud, art historian based in Florence, Italy. Christina has worked with Duquesne University for the last decade in organizing both academic excursions and optional travel excursions for our study abroad students. Since 2016, she has put together a fascinating academic study weekend for our Maymester Nursing students as a part of their Cultural Applications in Clinical Practice course, as well as welcoming DNP and PHD students during their Transcultural Care and Global Health Perspectives course that is completed with a study abroad component.

Duquesne University also hired Christina to teach during the first even Duquesne J-Term this past year. Her course “Visual Cultures of Care” was the catalyst for today’s very special lecture, “Monasteries, Medicine and Miracles”.
