Feet shoulder width apart

Points of Performance

Hips travel back and down
Knees continually drive out
Full range of motion getting hip crease below the knees

Common Flaws / Correcting The Movement

Common Flaw – Initiating the movement with the knees, NOT the hips
Correction – Cue clients to sit their hips back first

Common Flaw – Knees collapsing inward (Knee Valgus)
Correction – Cue clients to drive their knees out over the pinky toes

Common Flaw – Stance is too narrow not allowing client to get full range of motion
Correction – Cue client to widen their foot position to open up the hips and increase range of motion
