From The Corporate World, Kristen Works Online With Her Parents, All Having Now Quit Their Jobs

Hi I’m Darren, and I’m one half of Darren and Mike, and today I’m talking with Kristen about her online business. So Kristen tell us how long have you been in this business, and what did you do before?

Sure, I started in February 2018, and I actually worked in a corporate job. I was actually in marketing, so that was my full time career.

What is your favorite thing about this business, and how has your life changed as a result of this business so far?

I know you want to keep this short. I don’t know how I’m gonna sum it up, or how I’m gonna pick just one thing, because I love so many things about this business. For one, I love the people, like you, and Mike, Leighanne, everyone I’ve met. It’s just been fantastic. I’ve made so many friendships, and I’ve changed a lot of lives, and that all feels amazing. Also, my favorite thing is the freedom that I have, so I get to spend a lot more time with my kids, volunteering at my daughter’s school, when we were, when they were in school, free from debt, you know bigger house, bigger, better car, like just freedom. I’m just not stressed about money anymore, not worried about my future anymore, you know, and so I love just being able to make my own hours. Being able to come into my new home office, whenever I feel like it, and so it's changed my life in all those ways. But also my parents are in the business with me now as well. And so, that’s been awesome. I get to work with them pretty much every day, talk to them more, travel with them, they’ve been able to quit their jobs. So I feel awesome that I’ve been able to help them change their lives. And yeah that like everything, yeah it’s everything to me.
