#DRACULA
Lately I have found myself traveling down several rabbit holes, poring through various anthologies and comprehensive essay collections and research notes, and exploring deep-dive extended discussions, such as those done by Edward Pettit at The Rosenbach Museum & Library. The more I dig the more I am thankful to all those who tirelessly dedicate their time, sweat and scholarship toward enlightening the rest of us about Bram Stoker’s work.

For a recent online event called “Mixology” I narrated, old radio show-style, this small excerpt from Chapter 1, riding along with Jonathan Harker as he takes his trip to Dracula’s castle. This excerpt is in preparation for a larger project, narrating the 1897 edition of the book in unabridged form.

I am beyond grateful to have been able to collaborate with Jennifer Dean and Irene Meltzer Richard on it – their involvement, perspectives and feedback have all been invaluable.

Being able to play with narration at Mixology was indispensable. And Mixology is only possible with the ongoing support that Leah Abrams provides us as we develop the series within Undiscovered Works ().

To anyone listening to this humble excerpt, thank you very much for doing so. I know there are endless choices of art to peruse, check out and support out there. I am grateful for your visit here today 🙂
