FLASHBACK: 2009-06-27 / June 27th, 2009

This week’s Flashback Video brings us back 13 years when the UK Charts were led by a French DJ assisted by an American songstress, formerly part of a girl-trio. For him it was his first of 5 #1 songs in the country, for her it was the 2nd #1, both as featured acts. However she already had 2 charttoppers as part of the trio. Meanwhile in the USA a homegrown pop/R&B-group had their first #1 song in their homecountry but this would soon change. And in Germany an American pop-woman borrowed from a legendary German disco group and topped the charts for already her 13th week. It was her first of 4 charttoppers in the country.
