She also had multiple #1 songs as part of a girlgroup. Meanwhile in Germany a Portuguese-Canadian songstress with her first charttopper in the country. She had one more as a featured act one year later. And in the UK a Lebanese-born British singer scored his first and only #1 song there thanks to a song about an actress who passed away 25 years before.
