FLASHBACK: 1987-03-14 / March 14th, 1987

This week’s Flashback Video brings us back 35 years when the UK Charts were led by a British singer with his first and only solo #1 in his homecountry. He already had 2 as part of a pop group before. Meanwhile in the US Charts an American rock band climbed to the top to score their 3rd and final #1 there. And in Germany a British singer topped the charts thanks to the first TV showing of a French movie. His song as part of the soundtrack had entered in the early 80s when the movie came to the theatres but never got higher than #20. Now 5 years later he celebrated his only #1 song in the country.
