FLASHBACK: 1986-11-15 / November 15th, 1986

This week’s Flashback-Video brings us back 34 years when the UK-Charts were lead by a band named after the capital city of a country but not the country they came from. This was their only #1 song, made possibly thanks to a movie about pilots. Meanwhile in the US Chart it was another band named after a city, this time though they actually came from this town. It was also the first and only #1 song for this group – a rock ballad. And in Germany a singer/rapper from Austria who notched his 4th charttopper in the country. This one was the 2nd part of a continued story about a stalker, about one year after the first part also topped the chart in Germany.
