FLASHBACK: 1985-08-24 / August 24th, 1985

This week’s FLASHBACK Video brings us back 37 years when the US, German and UK Charts all were led by theme songs from blockbuster movies: For the US Charts it was a rock group from San Francisco with their first of 3 #1 songs. The track was used in a famous timetravelling movie. Meanwhile in Germany it was an American songstress with her only #1 song in the country. This one was the theme song for a movie sequel dystopian action film. And in the UK it was another American female singer with her first of 13 charttoppers in the country. It was the theme song for a comedy-drama movie which she also played a role in.
