This week’s Flashback-Video brings us back 37 years when the German Charts were led by a duet of a male & female American singer: He is part of one of a great music family, she was mostly an actress. For both it was their only #1 song in the country. Meanwhile in the UK an American R&B and Disco songstress scored her only charttopper in the country. And in the USA a British pop duo scored their first of 2 #1 singles. One part of the group was even more successful as a solo-singer before he unfortunately passed away 5 years ago.
