FLASHBACK: 1980-07-12 / July 12th, 1980

This week’s Flashback Video brings us back 42 years when the German Charts were led by an American disco & funk group with their biggest hit and only #1 song in the country. Meanwhile in the UK a British-born Australian songstress teamed up with an English rock band to help them to their only #1 song in their homecountry. For her it was already the 3rd but final charttopper. And in the USA a British legend scored his 7th of 9 #1 singles, outside the fabulous foursome he became famous for first.
