First-Time RVers Visit Snowy Range, WY & RMNP, CO

The 3rd week of August we finally got away to Rocky Mountain Nation Park (RMNP) for 5 days. On Outdoorsy I rented an RV for the first time (a Class B+ 2017 Unity MB Leisure Travel Van on a Mercedes Sprinter Chassis). Although I was a bit nervous about driving and parking this 25 ft. x 7.8 ft. beast initially, it was much easier than I anticipated. The first night in the RV was at the Silver Lake Campground in the Snowy Range of WY at 10,500 ft. elevation. Then we spent the next two nights at Glacier Basin Campground in RMNP at 8,500 ft. All are non-electric campsites, but with a Senior Pass campsites are only $15 a night at RMNP and Snowy Range was only $5.00 self-pay and RMNP does have free dump sites and water fill ups.
