Covid took the fun out of travel so in hope of avoiding the logistic non-sense I thought let’s travel closeby. And there was nothing closer than the island of Saba. You can see the „Unspoiled Queen“ very well from St Martin on a clear day with her top always covered with clouds trapped in their race over the ocean. A 15 min flight took us there to land on the shortest runway in the world. A very needed 4 day trip with lots of nap in the rains, singing contest with chickens and friendly people that you keep running into.
