FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Do you dare to look into the Eye of the Dragon? This famous route features many of Kentucky’s most beautiful attractions by traveling through the Red River Gorge, a canyon system on the Red River in East-Central Kentucky. This geological treasure is part of the Pottsville Escarpment and the Daniel Boone National Forest. The nationally famous Red River Gorge Geological Area is an incredible 29,000 acres of breathtaking scenery and endless outdoor adventures. On this route, you will travel through bridges, mountains, curves, and all sorts of gifts from Mother Nature. Perhaps one of the most exciting features of this ride would be the legendary NADA tunnel, a 900 feet long, 12 feet wide, 13 feet tall logging tunnel built between 1910-1912. While you’re at it, don’t make the mistake of not seeing the gorgeous Natural Bridge, as well as other natural attractions along the way.
