Expert Opinions, Part 1 (The Middle Way)

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Alternative Dispute Resolution. The host for this episode is Jay Fidell. The guests for this episode are Chang Wang and David Larson.

Professor David Larson travels to China regularly to teach law and arbitration and promote the American-style rule of law. He educated law faculty, students, and lawyers in China to understand and appreciate the American system and keep them up to date with American jurisprudence and dispute resolution. Due to the COVID-19 related travel restrictions put in place by the U.S. government and the Chinese government in early 2020, neither American professors can go to China to teach or attend an academic conference, nor Chinese scholars can enter the U.S. to teach or research. The U.S. Department of State recently announced resuming the visa processing for Chinese students. At the same time, a prominent Chinese CDC expert proposed that the U.S. and China recognize vaccination mutually and lift travel restrictions. Professor Larson and our hosts will also comment on the encouraging news and envision when their next China trips will be.
