Experience of a lifetime, Queen’s Theater, Palace of Versailles

Thank You @ChateauVersailles.Spectacles and @Royal Opéra of Palace of Versailles, for the beautiful Vivaldi’s La Senna Festeggiante, which was performed last Saturday at the Queen’s theater in the Petit Trianon.! This opera, intended to celebrate Louis XV, was an absolute marvel. Inaugurated in 1780 for Marie Antoinette’s private use, the Queen’s theater is rarely open to the public to preserve its sumptuous decor and its original stage machinery.
