Exercise Demo – Sprint from 45 Degrees Backward

Make sure you’re comfortable with Hip Turn & Sprint before moving to this variation. Set up facing 45 degrees backward away from your direction of travel
*With your further back leg, drive into the ground, likely approximately sideways to your direction of travel

*Execute a hip turn and sprint forward
*Repeat facing 45 degrees backward the other way
*Your way of getting turned around will probably look a little different than the video! Keys are to practice driving off the back leg and getting your torso forward into the direction you’re traveling so you can chase your shoulders as you accelerate!
