Subsurface Saṃsvedaja: Twin Chrysalis utilizes video as a medium to simulate a perceptual pathway that intersects across multiple scales and perspectives. Like virtual light rays repeatedly traced through subsurface materials, this work will guide the viewer to seep through the everyday surface and enter the liminal spatiotemporality, slipping into a series of travel paths that penetrate the image, the membrane, and the notion of Self, arriving in a topological realm between the organic and inorganic, the real and illusory, where the autopoietic beings manifests their moist shapes.
