Barto & Cash gallivant throughout Europe. Fortunately a motorcycle was provided thanks to Triumph UK. They hit Berlinale for the premiere of “Perpetrator” an indie horror film Cash acted in, followed by sober and ecstatically dressed Berghain, a lost journal and toothbrush, a birthday celebration in the countryside of England, more England, but in the city, a solo motorcycle ride from London to Pairs… and back. Berlin strikes. Parisian strikes. Almost missed flights. Lots of wine, some fashion, 3 weeks. Wow, wow, wow, my feet are still cold from that rain filled ride home. Did I mention this was in March of 2023? There was snow on my ride and I was wet for 12 hours and I was the closest to giving up I have ever been. But I made it, triumphantly back to the shores of England. Just in time for the last train of the night and a left triumph motorcycle parked in the parking lot at night under a light. Hidden keys with a new souvenir- a miniature metal Eiffel Tower. Tourist trap type stuff, but the best tourist trap type stuff in existence. Anyways I made it to a warm train, and an uber, still sopping wet back to our friends lovely British pad, sushi, champagne, and a long hot shower. A left jacket as an ode to Keanu. Let’s just say that there is always more to the story. And we barely made our 4 overstuffed overweight, ripping luggages onto the flight the next morning, back to our American motherland and up to Massachusetts to see my dwindling grandfather for his last birthday for the last time.
