Exercise: Videoclip in one sequence shot

This music video explores the theme of travel in a very intimate way, using different techniques to obtain an intense pathos: one sequence shot, slow motion and reverse video.
The video opens looking on a girl who’s smoking, as she’s watching right in front of the camera. The camera starts following her as she runs in reverse through the streets of Vucciria and meets various kind of travellers: a girl who’s moving in a new house, a tourist, a business man, an erasmus student, a sportsman. All of them walk in reverse because they’ve in common the desire to return home. When the protagonist arrives near home, she changes her jacket, wears her favourite sweatshirt and smiles happily before closing the door.
