On March 31, 2021, Karen Curry and Michael Gaskins of the Paul F. Harron Graduate Program in Television & Media Management were joined by Candi Carter, Executive Producer and Showrunner of the Tamron Hall Show, for Equity of Voice: Producing for Talk & Interview Shows.

Carter, an Emmy® Award-winning producer, has extensive television credits with over two decades of experience. She spent the past five years as executive producer of “The View” and prior to that, was a senior/supervising producer for 15 years at “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” During her career, Carter has overseen a wide range of programming, from big on-location events and musical performances to fashion and talent shows and surprise reunions. In this conversation, she shared her experiences as well as valuable tips for all professionals looking to take that next step in their careers!
