Eilia Wickstead – Autun Winter 2022 collection – FESCH.TV

We composed and produced the music and sound for Emilia Wickstead’s Autumn-Winter 2022 collection show, which was part of London Fashion Week last month.

Emilia wanted to pay homage to the Italian cinema of the 1960s and aimed to bring back a little bit of the ambience of Antonioni’s La Notte and L’Eclisse into her collection.
Her vision for the show was precise and composed, with the black and white chessboard decor reflecting the black and white image of Antonioni’s films and a classic / modern look in the clothes design.

The music and sound had to reflect this feeling, we therefore chose a piece of music that had energy and pace and a strong sense of rhythm to accompany the model through the runway, along with evocative melodies to match the atmosphere.
We used traditional instruments, like woodwids and xylophone, but used in a modern way, to go along with Emilia’s vision.
