Drug Policy, Stigma, and the Power of Your Story

On Sept. 30, 2021, Pittsburgh Recovery Walk and Elevyst presented „Drug Policy, Stigma, and the Power of Your Story“ to close out National Recovery Month. During this webinar, Sean Fogler of Elevyst walked through an overview of U.S. drug policy, stigma associated with drug use, and where we go from here. We also discussed using your story to be an advocate in your community.

Pittsburgh Recovery Walk

The purpose of the Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is to celebrate the many roads to recovery from addiction and all those who travel them. Specifically, the walk aims to:

Celebrate recovery and recovery supports in our region.
Eliminate stigma toward people personally impacted by addiction.
Showcase the many resources for recovery support, health, and harm reduction in our region.
