Don’t buy

I decided to convert all my and the rest of my family’s charging needs to use the charge asap cable. So i spent around $400 on cables for all of our cars and night stands and travel Kit’s. So when you consider my review consider i have approximately 20 cables and multiple charging tips. We have all apple devices so maybe if you have another brand of device it will work better for you. All of the cables i have used are problematic. The majority of them don’t work at all. I have not been able to charge my iPad Pro with any of the cables or tips. I contacted customer care and because so many cables were faulty i requested a refund this was the response

“Please be reminded that all sales are final as the funds have already been paid to the crowd funding platform and used for development of the product. Indiegogo is not able to guarantee that perks will be delivered or deemed satisfactory. The nature of crowdfunding is such that campaigns on Indiegogo are raising funds for work-in-progress projects, ideas, or causes. Contributing to a campaign and claiming a perk on Indiegogo is not the same as buying a product online. There will be no exchanges or returns for change of mind. This was mentioned on the FAQ Return & Exchange Policy of cour campaign page”

Ok so the above statement are their rules i don’t like them but that Chargeasap’s rules. But i only bought a small portion of the cable’s from indigogo. I pointed this out the them in a follow up email. I was then told that i would need to make a video of the cables not working properly!

I mean really i don’t have the desire or time to invest an hour in video’s Chargeasap’s product not performing. I simply gave up asking for a refund and now have a pile of worthless non working cables.

Buy at your own peril. Many of the cables are faulty and the customer service will give you the run around and find any excuse to not refund you.
