„When I first heard the TOP NET music, I saw a dark nightclub atmosphere in which the group DOPE.GNG would evolve. My artistic approach is very singular because I wanted us to be with the two protagonists at all times and to feel what they live in the same space-time. To do so, we opted for a very psychological staging by using a snoricam that offers a dynamic point of view from the actor’s perspective, as well as a split screen effect. The many black screens dynamize the editing while creating temporal ellipses. Then, I also wanted to create a loop effect between the first and last scenes and that these two scenes are filmed in the same way and from the same point of view. Finally, the violence in the music video is gratuitous and I wanted to show through this that we live in a world where violence is omnipresent, unfortunately.“ Jean–Vital Joliat, director
