Digiphy is a Mixed Reality creative design and communication tool that creates a dynamic immersive experience by seamlessly combining Virtual Reality (VR) with an interactive physical base.
Within the automotive industry, Digiphy is pushing the boundaries towards further digitisation of the design research and development process. It allows to integrate intangible design elements early-on in the design process.
Digiphy is designed as a mobile and easy-to-use plug & play product for car-, UX-, interaction-, and HMI-designers, ergonomic engineers, etc. To verify, compare, change, adjust, and improve their designs, an intuitive interface commanding 24 synchronised actuators allows to quickly adapt to any car layout while precisely respecting all ergonomic values and design elements.
Digiphy’s open-ended system allows physical components and prototypes to be attached. Each of them can contain interactive elements too, making the number of applications near infinite.
Digiphy makes it possible to interact with all aspects of design at full size – shape, colour, material, light, haptics, movement, sound… It allows you to fully immerse into a holistic experience, and to make real-time design improvements.
By using Digiphy, there is no need to build full-scale models for every single project, which has a positive impact on the environment. Furthermore, multiple Digiphys can communicate live with each other, allowing reviews to be organised where participants are not at the same location, avoiding frequent expensive and distant travel.
