This weekend, we’re in Box Elder County in northwest Utah with the Big Horn 4×4 Club, Utah 4WD Association and Public Lands Equal Access Association (PLEAA) visiting Devil’s Playground! The weathered granitic rock in this relatively unknown geological phenomenon creates fantastic rock formations and eerie shapes that seem to fit perfectly with this remote landscape.

Reece and Marianne Stein visit wild, primitive Sloan Canyon in the Mojave Desert of Las Vegas in this week’s “Where To.” With 300 rock art panels, wildlife like bighorn sheep and some challenging terrain, this moderate hike has a couple of options to explore the beautiful Southwest.

Ria joins Anthony Lujan with Smoke Ain’t No Joke BBQ and the Pitmasters Podcast’s for some backyard grilling of Yardley Premium Beef Tri-Tip Sliders in this week’s “What’s New.” These sliders are triple seasoned to perfection and smoked at 250 degrees. Finally the beef is assembled on a slider bun with chipotle sauce with veggies. Yum!

Following in the footsteps of Jim Bridger and other explorers before them, the American Mountain Man Association members are adventurers at heart. In this week’s “Along the Way,” we accompany them on the Bear River Run as they attempt to recreate Bridger’s journey of nearly 200 years ago.
