Before you watch the video, may I ask you: what female Latin American artist can you think of? And no, not JLo… a plastic artist!

It seems that mostly musical Latin American artists seem to be recorded by history. But if we dig into Art History, that sentence drastically changes. Men who did not have the chance to travel could not reach the same recognition as those who did. When women painted, it was just considered as them „cooling off“ from house works. Black and aboriginal artists were not even considered or appreciated. And don’t get us started with the LGBTQIA+ community.

This projects intends to challenge this canon in history. Be inclusive for the first time in, well, history.
