Peace to everyone,
Most of us are familiar with the Christmas Carol, “The Little Drummer Boy”. Even though he did not have gold, frankincense, or myrrh, his tiny drum announced great love for Jesus.
Today’s Gospel challenges all of us to help each other use our unique gifts to build the Kingdom of God.
In today’s message, I share a true story about how a discarded bicycle made a life-changing difference in one young boy’s life, and how a wonderful priest awakened two large parishes to their mission to Build the Kingdom of God. May their story inspire all of us to know that no gift is insignificant when it is wrapped in love.
