Cultural Day at AGB & FESCH.TV:

Yesterday, we celebrated our diverse and rich cultural heritage at the Arc of Greater Brockton.
We wore the colors of the flags of our countries our individual heritage and decorated our building with flags and pictures of different places around the world. We enjoyed a delicious potluck lunch with dishes from various cuisines, such as meatballs, tacos, Irish soda bread, stews, and more. We also had a fun fashion show where our participants and employees modeled outfits that represented their heritage. We listened to traditional music from different regions and learned about their history and culture.
It was a great day of learning, sharing, and celebrating our differences and similarities.
We are proud to be a part of this amazing community that values diversity and inclusion. Our Executive Director Dean Rizzo said it best. We are quite a diverse group, but we also couldn’t be more united!
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this event, in particular Sita Ramrattan Baker, who spearheaded the event. Also, big thanks to Tracey Glynn for helping plan the event as well as Adam Belmore who served as the MC! Most of all, thank you to all our amazing participants, who make AGB such an amazing place every day!
