My humble cover. Not intended as any improvement over the original version! I am just sharing my love and appreciation for a great song and great band.

I’ve done a bunch of cover songs simply for practice recording. I am a Hendrix fan but I have never learned a Hendrix solo note for note. I do have a Fender Stratocastor guitar but didn’t even use it for this Hendrix cover because I’ve never bothered to sound just like him. Instead, I added a horn section*. I do not have an actual band so I have to record all the instruments and vocals myself. About the video: If I get to travel the world I often think about unusual locations to make music videos. Sometimes a thought comes into my head that reminds me of a song I’ve recorded. I was visiting Vietnam and the traffic was the worst I’d ever seen anywhere. It reminded me that I’d recorded a cover of Crosstown Traffic. So I simply popped out the video camera and shot footage for the music video.
