COUNTRY OF THE BLIND – A Social Experiment

COUNTRY OF THE BLIND asks the question:

“To what point can a culture trade in the illusory idea of personal autonomy?”

We gathered 25 people in a room without telling them why.

We played some music and gave them four rules.

1. Improvise moving to the music and find a dance you like.

2. When you have found your dance moves, loop them.

3. When you see someone doing a dance you think is better than yours, copy them.

4. When everyone is doing the same dance, the experiment will be over.
