„As a creative practice within the framework of an immersive experience, „Conscious Creatures“ aims to present a world about my exploration of self-identity in various territories. A transformation of consciousness is the beginning of a change of identity. Water is a clue between my travel regions, and it connects the background of my upbringing and the context of my creation. Through garment subversion of the self-body, one fantastical creature after another is created. It reveals the birth of a new creature to my consciousness in various territories.

The creation process inspired me to become a new ‚creature‘ to establish an alienated way of interacting with the objective world. This approach will raise questions through performance. What is the unique perceptual experience and consciousness of the new creature? Does the change of identity depend on consciousness or the body transformation? Is the identity that returns to the starting point still the original creature?
