Coastal Now – CCU Professor Leads SC7 Expedition

Coastal Carolina University professor, Tom Mullikin, Sr., J.D., is leading the South Carolina 7 expedition for the second straight year. Participants in South Carolina 7 start in the mountains of the state and travel to the coast over 30 days. The idea is to draw attention to the challenges facing the state from global climate change and to accentuate the beauty and natural elements of South Carolina. We caught up with Professor Mullikin and the expedition in Oconee County as the journey began. In this video, he talks about the impact that CCU, its professors and students have on the natural environment and in working to make certain that the state is prepared for whatever comes with climate change.
