Clark Atlanta University Lecture, 1991

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

This video recording consists of a portion of a 1991 lecture delivered by Dr. Asa G. Hilliard, III at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. Approximately eight minutes of the lecture are included followed by a short question and answer session. Dr. Hilliard argues that the emerging European Union is a “new world order,” pointing out that no African countries are included in the new organization. He exhorts all people of African descent to study, particularly African history, and to plan, even on a small scale, in order to be a viable part of the future. Hilliard expresses concern that Africa may become “spare parts” for Europe if they do not begin to rebuild African identity and the African continent. The end of the video contains a portion of a 1988 television program on space travel and colonization.
