Can Link Peole Logo – FESCH.TV

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

A French Canadian headhunting business had a static logo with plenty of room for creative flair. The theme of people & trending topics of inclusion had me choose something that illustrated both this and the connection theme of the client.
Beforehand, as per usual, I reconstructed the design through Illustrator. The fonts were not easy to find but the real challenge was the leaf design. All characters were added in separately for maximum options for animations later.

For the leaf design, there were a total of 48 branches that had to have their ´Trim Path´ effects designed and applied separately to appear in the style in the final product to create the illusion as if it was growing. One major trim path to reveal all was not generating the right effect. The rotation of people I went after a ´target reticle´ approach – as if to illustrate that its about targeting the growth or growing potential of people and a zoom in was achieved by scaling both the people circle, I´d already animated as a rotation and the leaf design in tandem, parented to separate Null Objects whilst in motion as the leaf design completed its growing animation. After this I could recalibrate the centre of the design to the ¨center¨ of the frame to allow for the brand text, in a filing draw fashion from left to right.

The final branding text ¨CONNECTING PEOPLE¨ I experimented with a variety of effects until I came upon CC Lens, which I created to look like an air pocket ripple to complete the design animation.
