Performances by Eliza Rush, Joseph Alton Miller, Love? said the Commander and Safer at Night

Eliza Rush – Singer – Songwriter
Classically trained and steeped in the rich musical culture of Canada, Eliza Rush is no stranger to performing and is making her mark on the live acoustic scene. She finds and interprets songs that beg to be shared. Eliza takes a pop song or old standard and makes it her own while adeptly sprinkling in her originals. When you see her perform, her hauntingly beautiful, evocative voice and presence will pull you in. www.elizarushmusic.com

Joseph Alton Miller – Singer – Songwriter
Joseph Alton Miller bridges the gap separating the many genres that make up the American roots sound. He has been recording and touring for two decades as a solo artist, sharing stages with acts such as Brandi Carlile and Living Color. In 2017, after releasing his critically acclaimed Songs of Travel for the Vagabond, Joseph was nominated for the No Depression Singer/Songwriter Award. In 2020, he released a book of poetry, The Souls of These Boots.

Love? said the Commander – Maximal Minimalism Duo
Love? said the Commander is a duo from the PhilaJersey area that embraces maximal minimalism in order to create slow burning indie/folk rock that’ll make ya feel stuff.

Safer at Night – Shoegaze Band
Their aesthetic is a wall of expanding guitars with pretty vocal melodies barely peeking though the swirling sound. These elements are amalgamated as a warm fuzzed-out storm slowly approaching like in a dream. The band features members of indie favorites The Blurrys, Violet Waves and Rusty Beaumont. Dave and William are veterans of Cafe Improv, joined by new-comers John and Tim. Safer At Night is like nothing you have experienced before.
