When Owner of Anyvent Event Planning, Jazmin Portnow, and Xiaoqi Li of Xiaoqi Li Photography first had the idea of organizing a Bridgerton inspired shoot, it was truly born of their love of the series and all things royal. The styling and fashion were surely something that would catch on quickly as they both noticed the vision of their bride’s being redirected to mimic parts of the show, but as Jazmin began to design for the shoot, it became clear that the focus needed to be on diversity. „Diversity is something that Xiaoqi and I loved most about the show, so it became evident early on that we wanted to have not only cultural diversity, but wanted to focus on inclusion as much as we could by making it a same-sex shoot, Jazmin says. „Diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of both of our business models, so not only was it important to select diversity within our „royal court“, but also to hand select vendors who we knew shared the same commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community to be as welcoming as possible to anyone celebrating their love in the wedding industry“. Once the dream team of vendors were chosen, the rest was easy and played out like a dream with all of the Bridgerton feels!
