Cacao, an offering given by Gods, as the Aztecs believed, is the ingredient that metamorphoses into one of the most appreciated food products in the entire world: CHOCOLATE.
To be surrounded by cocoa beans and yet still not to know the taste of chocolate… what we think of as delight the cacao farmers think of as struggle, working their whole lives for something they have no control of.
You may choose to look the other way but you can never say again that you did not know.

The idea for the collection Bitter Sweet by jewelry artist Gena Tudor (@gena.tudor) is the transition from a microscopic view at the particles that form chocolate to a panoramic one that offers us the perspective we should always keep in mind.
