BIANCA D’AMORE – FESCH.TV

BIANCA D’AMORE & FESCH.TV:

A poetry-fashion film I have been working in 2020.
Written and directed by the wonderful human and creative being Ida Chiatante.
Shot in the beautiful town of Martina Franca (Apulia, IT).

“Bianca d’Amore is an evocative short movie made out of whispers and magic acts. It drives inspiration by a Giorgio Caproni’s poem about a small town in the south of Italy named Martina Franca. Bianca maybe is a real woman but we will never know. She stands like a modern caryatid floating fast from a scene to another. The short movie doesn’t have a real plot but it speaks to the public through the power of images in a mysterious way, not trying to lead anywhere but letting the emotions arise from the sounds and scents in a synthetic experience. A symbolic and sometimes mystic atmosphere. Following the thread is the only thing we have left. The poem has been woven by skilled weavers on very traditional loom and then put on a contemporary dress to create a contrast between past and present, and maybe future.”

This work won 2 awards: Florence Film Awards as Best Super Short Film + and at the 8 & Halfilm Awards as Best Inspirational film.
