Berlinale Talents 202: Aline Amike & FESCH.TV:

Observation is at the core of Aline Amike’s work. Growing up in Rwanda, she developed a keen eye for the unspoken things of everyday life, which inspire her creative processes from acting to fashion design and poetry. An award-winning actor, she strives to increase the visibility of Rwandan women in cinema.

Her Kigali-based fashion brand also aims to empower local women. Aline’s designs are influenced by traditional handcraft techniques from different African cultures, such as beading.

She recently moved to Berlin where she’s embracing the challenge of setting foot in a new environment.
