ASTRAX has been operating the world’s first private space business creation education and training school called „ASTRAX ACADEMY“ since 2017 for the advent of the private space travel era.
Since 2017, lectures have been held in classrooms and conference rooms in a classroom format, while using facilities such as the private spacecraft operation support and control center and private spacecraft training simulator at the ASTRAX secret base, as well as zero-gravity training using ASTRAX’s zero-gravity flight service, and ASTRAX TRAVEL has been conducting tours of space-related facilities around the world.
In order to develop the private space travel industry and other space flight services using various private spacecraft, it is necessary to provide a completely new space education that has never existed before. We have trained hundreds of students so far.
ASTRAX ACADEMY currently offers the following courses, which are divided into five levels (guidance level, basic level, master level, specialized level, and optional level).
Private space business course (plans to train 1,000 private space service venture businesses)
Private Space Astronaut Training Course (to train about 10 private spacecraft operators)
Space Flight Attendant Training Course (to train about 10 flight attendants aboard commercial spacecraft)
Space traveler preparation course (Preparation starts one year before the space flight. (Preparation starts one year before the space flight. Separate education and training is required for each space traveler.)
Space traveler preparation support course (Preparation starts one year before the space flight. (Preparation will begin one year before the space flight. The number of support providers will need to be increased according to the number of space travelers.)
Course for training instructors for each course (Course to train instructors for each course. (We plan to train about 20 instructors for each course, including global development.)
ASTRAX Catalog Listing Business Course (Space flight product matching service. (Matching service for spaceflight products. Need to be increased according to the number of space products, space services, and space travelers.)
ASTRAX Lunar City Pioneer Training Course (Education for lunar service providers using lunar land. (Education for lunar service providers using lunar land, extracted from the private space business course)
United Nations World Space Week Japan Evangelist Training Course (education for business development using the United Nations World Space Week)
However, due to the recent spread of the new coronavirus infection, it has become difficult to conduct courses in places where people gather, such as classrooms and conference rooms, and overseas tours. In response to this, from April 2020, all courses will be offered online as much as possible, and we have been working to change the way in which classes can be conducted efficiently online regardless of location by making full use of various existing tools.
Now, as part of ASTRAX DX, we are digitizing these online courses to further strengthen our countermeasures against the new coronavirus infection and to improve the efficiency of our business and global expansion, enabling us to produce, edit, revise, and distribute course videos without having to record the video of the instructor teaching. In addition, it will be possible to digitize those online courses. In addition, it will be easier to link the digital course materials to be used by the students and to the facilities we own, such as the commercial spacecraft operation support control center and the commercial spacecraft training simulator, which will enable us to provide higher level lectures more efficiently.
As the first step, we will sell this guidance level course, which is the most basic course that can be learned at ASTRAX ACADEMY.
The next level, the Basic Course and the Master Course, will be available as soon as they are produced.
